Stephanie Churchel ~ LAPC

Therapy isn’t about having everything figured out—it’s about having a space where you can be real, feel supported, and grow at your own pace. Together, we’ll explore your story, honor your experiences, and work toward a life that feels more grounded, meaningful, and aligned with who you are.

Who I work with: ADOLESCENTS (16+) & ADULTS

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, ADHD, and other emotional or behavioral challenges. While I support clients across a range of concerns, I’m especially drawn to working with people moving through life transitions, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, career changes, and challenges related to confidence, self-esteem, and assertiveness.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to you. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy. Together, we’ll focus on building trust, strengthening coping skills, and creating space for reflection, growth, and self-understanding.

I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, empathy, and respect—not to “fix” you, but to support you. Many of the people I work with are looking for stability, practical tools, and a place where they can explore uncertainty without judgment. Often, they want to rebuild trust in themselves, find meaning after difficult experiences, and move toward a life that reflects their values and who they truly are.

More About Me:

I believe in the powerful connection between mind and body, and outside of the therapy room you’ll often find me running, moving, or doing something active to stay grounded and present. My background in business and marketing also shapes my perspective—I bring curiosity and a practical lens to helping clients navigate challenges and move forward with confidence.
