Get To Know Rebekah
Who I work with: Adolescents & Adults
I work toward internal and external hope, while also acknowledging the difficult realities and stressors that uniquely affect individuals and relationships.
Art therapy is a process that uses the relational aspect of talk therapy and the expressive element of visual imagery to facilitate awareness & nonjudgement toward one’s own inner experience.
Art therapy can help hold difficult feelings and experiences for all ages while also creating a safe space for non-verbal and verbal expression. No "artistic skill" is needed and life isn't always pretty, so that is not the goal with the art either.
I believe that healing is possible when intrinsic motivation is there. If you are ready to take an honest look at yourself and need someone to come alongside you on that journey, it would be my honor.
WE ALL NEED TO KNOW THAT WE ARE NOT ALONE.
